Gingerbread Spaceship Earth

At EPCOT's Festival of the Holidays, special offerings include this 8-foot-tall gingerbread structure, modelled after the real Spaceship Earth and made with real gingerbread, icing, and chocolate. "Gumdrop" lights create a 3-minute light show that plays throughout the day. This project was created in 2024 and is freshly reassembled for guests to enjoy every winter holiday season.

Lead Show Set Designer

Responsible for:

Collaboration between WDW Operations, WDW Pastry Team, WDI Show Lighting, WDI AV, WDI Props, WDI Graphics.
Prototyping and creating proof of concept with Pastry team.
Oversight and collaboration with Show Set Vendor during shop drawing and fabrication phase.
Show Set Design of final piece via iterative 3D modelling.
Adherence to budget and schedule.
Production of design intents, as-builts, and installation/strike documentation.
Install oversight.
