Perri Dinnerman

Hello! I'm Perri
I've held an interest for design for as long as I can remember. The mix of problem solving, art, and creativity is what drives me. I am also very interested in any form of story telling such as books, movies, television, animation, Webtoons, and more. My goal is to mix these two passions in a career in Themed Entertainment.
I am interested in many aspects of themed entertainment design including show set, production, concept, architecture, and graphic fabrication. This passion started to materialize the summer I was 16 years old and decided to make Harry Potter themed Halloween decorations from scratch with $300 and anything I could find. Summer 2021 I worked at Busch Gardens Williamsburg as a park operations intern. In my 4th year at UVa I started working as an exhibition designer for Imagine Exhibitions. Now I am at Walt Disney Imagineering as a Graphic Fabrication Intern, learning from an incredible team of talented people.
Apart from design, I love to travel and explore. I am bilingual in Spanish so visiting Spanish speaking countries tends to be my favorite. I grew up in Atlanta, GA and spend my time trying to find the best spots to eat. Growing up I went to a camp for type one diabetics at Camp Twin Lakes in Georgia. Having T1D and going to this camp has influenced the person I am today. I intended to work at Camp Twin Lakes in summer 2020 but it was unfortunately canceled due to COVID. Nevertheless I still participated as much as I safely could and carry their ideals with me throughout my everyday life.
